Candle Care & Ritual
Candle Care Guide
Taking care of a candle is a way of extending the gesture that brought it into being. Candle care is not only a matter of burn time or flame, but a way of entering into relationship with light.
First Flame
At the first use, allow the candle to burn until the entire surface of the wax has melted. This initial lighting establishes the memory of the flame and ensures an even, harmonious burn in future uses.
The Wick
Before each lighting, trim the wick to approximately 5 mm. A wick that is too long may produce an unstable flame and alter the diffusion of the fragrance. This simple gesture encourages a soft, steady light.

Burn Time
To preserve the quality of the wax and the fragrance, avoid burning the candle for more than 2 to 3 hours at a time. Extinguishing the flame also allows it to be fully renewed at the next lighting.
Extinguishing the Flame
Use a snuffer when possible, or gently dip the wick into the melted wax before straightening it again. This helps reduce smoke and preserves the purity of the fragrance.
Place and Presence
Always place your candle on a stable surface, away from drafts. Never leave a flame unattended. Light calls for attention.
Ritual and Silence
Lighting a candle is an invitation to slow down. Take a moment, breathe, and allow the fragrance to unfold. The flame does not only illuminate the space — it accompanies an inner moment.
