About me

I am Belgian of Polish origin and I live in Brussels. This is where I create my candles, at home. My kitchen is my workshop: a simple, living and carefully arranged space, where each candle is hand-poured with the time and attention that sincere craftsmanship requires.

My relationship with scent began very early. I grew up surrounded by my grandmothers, in an environment where smells played an essential role. Family scents were part of everyday life: the kitchen, wax, wood, fruit, compotes, still-warm pies, gardens. These aromas accompanied gestures, seasons and shared moments. They carried comfort, continuity and identity. This olfactory heritage, deeply rooted in my childhood, now forms the sensitive foundation of my work.

Polish culture and the traditions passed down within my family have shaped my way of seeing and creating. They taught me the value of time, repeated gestures, patience and transmission. They are the backbone of my candles, which tell a story of roots, departures, exile and bonds preserved despite distance.

My passion for fragrance was further refined through my training and professional experience at Senteurs d'Ailleurs, where I worked for several years. This environment offered me a true olfactory education: understanding raw materials, their quality, their evolution and their balance. I learned to listen to a fragrance, to grasp its emotion, and to approach creation with precision, humility and high standards.

Scented candles naturally became an extension of this passion. They offer a more intimate relationship with fragrance, where the flame reveals the material and creates atmosphere. Great reference houses such as Trudon or Mizensir have shaped my expectations, both in terms of olfactory composition and the quality and longevity of the burn.

My candles are the meeting point between this culture of perfume and my personal history. Above all, they are a full and heartfelt tribute to my family, to the Polonia and to Poland. They carry traditions, transmitted stories, departures and roots carried in suitcases, but also continuity, life and the present. Creating candles is my way of keeping this heritage alive, linking generations and transforming memory into light.
